Dec. 4, 2009 is a day Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney’s Ray Vinopal is not likely to forget for the remainder of his lifetime. The 5-10, 178-pound safety led his team to the Ohio Division 3 state title this afternoon, then announced afterward that he had committed to Michigan.

Cardinal Mooney took down Columbus DeSales by a final of 35-7 in the Division 3 championship game and it was Vinopal who got the scoring started for the Cardinals.
