Cook still taking his time with recruiting
Apparently, when dealing with one the country's top high school point guards, not even the NCAA Tournament is enough to break the full-court press. As Kansas State battled through its first three rounds of the tournament, associate head coach Dalonte Hill encountered the stress of game planning, practice and film sessions but also worked on the recruiting trail. In a move to build for the future while laboring in the present, Hill phoned those close to Quinn Cook, the 20th-ranked prospect in the 2011 Class, frequently during the Wildcats' run to the Elite Eight.
