Another Clear Springs prospect on the radar
The presence of Division I prospects at a high school program often leads to a parade of college coaches coming through a school to look at them. However, it can also lead to coaches finding out about a player who had not previously been on their radar screens for one reason or another. League City (Texas) Clear Springs is a prime example.
College coaches have been by in waves to watch linebackers Trevon Randle and Donnie Baggs and now another Charger athlete may be the beneficiary. Howard Matthews started the first seven games of last season at Seguin High School before moving to Clear Springs in January to live with his uncle, offensive coordinator Craig Dailey. Now, he is slated to play a big role this season on both sides of the ball.
