Once Henry Krieger-Coble picked up a scholarship offer from Iowa, many felt it was only a matter of time before he committed. It turns out they were right as the 6-foot-4, 218-pound Mount Pleasant native made his decision less than a week later and gave his verbal pledge to the Hawkeyes today.

We caught up with Mount Pleasant head coach Bob Jensen to talk about Krieger-Coble's decision, what kind of player the Hawkeyes are getting, and much more.

Q: Is it true Henry committed to Iowa today?

JENSEN: He did commit today. They went up today for an unofficial visit and he said let's do this. He's going to be a Hawkeye.

Q: What do you see as his potential in college?

JENSEN: Well, right now, he's kind of an unknown except for one thing and that's that he's 6-foot-4 and can catch anything thrown near him. He's got great hands, huge hands. The other night in 7-on-7, he caught a post route where he just stuck out his right hand and caught the ball one handed. Our quarterback thought it was incomplete because he made a bad throw, but Henry just went out and got it. That's the thing that really sticks out with him.
