If Christian French wanted to make his college commitment based on campus scenery, the four-star athlete from Cedar Rapids, Iowa probably would have committed to Notre Dame on Friday. French was getting his second look at the Irish, but it was a first chance for his father to see the program. Notre Dame made a lasting impression on both.
