Miller is next in line at Dwyer
West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer is coming off a Class 4A state championship and has three of the top prospects in the state in Nick O'Leary, Jacoby Brissett and Curt Maggitt. However, when watching the Panthers practice, it is another player that immediately jumps out to any observer.
This spring Patrick Miller transferred across the street from The Benjamin School, a tiny private Class 1A program. The class of 2012 prospect played as a 6-foot-6, 225-pound sophomore defensive end there but now stands at 6-foot-7 and 255 pounds. He has the look of a prototypical offensive tackle.
"I'm mainly hearing from schools about playing offensive tackle, left tackle," Miller said. "That's what they all say I should play because of my frame. I've had a couple good practices at defensive tackle, too, so I'm probably going to play both ways this year."
