Auburn builds lead for four-star OT
Thibodaux (La.) four-star offensive lineman Greg Robinson wanted to be in the crowd for Auburn receiver Trovon Reed's first play of his college career. The two are close friends and former high school teammates. It would've meant a lot to Robinson to see it first-hand.
And it worked out that Robinson did.
Auburn had played two games before Robinson arrived on the Tigers' campus Saturday, but Reed had not played in either because of a minor injury. But on Auburn's first offensive play of the second quarter in a 27-24-overtime win again Clemson, Reed took a direct snap and rushed up the middle for a 6-yard gain.
"That was really good to see," said the 6-foot-5, 295-pound Robinson. "I really liked that. I was glad I was there."...
