Gator defense has off night
With the exception of those living in denial, not much was expected from the Florida offense Saturday against LSU.
There were, however, high hopes for the Gator defense.
And for good reason.
On paper, things looked more than a little promising.
After five games, that unit was allowing a respectable 291 yards a game. Meantime, LSU entered with an offense that barely cracked the top-100 nationally.
Because of this, what happened at the Swamp not only was unexpected, it was, well, shocking.
