Slant TV: Marcus discusses Markieff's big three
On Sunday evening, Markieff Morris hit would could easily be called the biggest shot of his college career against Michigan. Trailing by one point in overtime, the 6-foot-10, 245-pound center from Philadelphia, Pa., squared up from behind the arc and hit nothing but the bottom of the net. His shot gave KU a two point lead, and it's a lead the Jayhawks never surrender during the extra session. On Wednesday, Marcus Morris, the twin brother of Markieff, said he wasn't at all surprised that his brother stepped-up and hit the "big" shot. In fact, Marcus said Markieff was always the one to take the big shots when the two were growing up.
