Kiel Talks After Return from Norman
Coming into his visit to Oklahoma Gunner Kiel had talked a lot about what he would be looking for when he arrived in Norman and without a doubt the thing that headlined his wants was quality human relationships. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound quarterback arrived in Norman on Sunday and left on Monday but in just a few hours did have a time to see just how things work at Oklahoma.
During his time he met each of Oklahoma's current quarterbacks as well as Sooner head coach Bob Stoops and new offensive coordinator Josh Heupel.
It was his time with Oklahoma's head-man that may have been most impressive to the Columbus (Ind.) East product.
"I actually spent a lot of time with him, I woke up real early and watched them workout and had breakfast with him. Before I left I sat down and talked to him again and that was actually the most time I've spent with a head coach at any school I've been to," Kiel said.
"I had a great time, meeting with coach Stoops. It was amazing and being around coach Heupel was special to me and seeing the team workout and how they all got along, it was a great trip."
