In his first season for the Hoosiers last fall linebacker Jeff Thomas played very well as he finished second on the team in tackles with 82 and in tackles for loss with 7.5. It was a good year for the California native, but he is expecting even better things in 2011 because of the freedom the linebackers will have in the new defense Indiana will be running.
