West Virginia got a thoroughbred on the line when it offered cornerback prospect Larry Hope a scholarship last week.

The Mountaineers are in the hunt with Buffalo, Duke, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, USF, and Duke, and the slender 5-foot-11, 165 pounder has vowed to see all of them in person before he makes a decision.
