Cooper likes both Vandy and UVa
The coaching staff at Vanderbilt has made Virginia and all of the states in the Mid-Atlantic region a priority since James Franklin took over as head coach of the Commodores and so far in 2012, his staff has already made several players in the state of Virginia a priority.
Franklin and assistant coach Chris Beatty, who formerly coached at Landstown in Virginia Beach, are working their ties and knowledge of the area to try to upgrade Vanderbilt's talent level and one of the state's best athletes, Bayside's Anthony Cooper, is a prospect securely on their radar. So far their efforts with Cooper have been paying off.
While Cooper, who once listed Virginia as his clear favorite, is still very high on the Cavaliers, early this week he told CavsCorner that there are now two schools at the top of his list.
