Cottonwood High has been a factory of division I football talent over the past 10 years in the state of Utah. By cranking out talent to conferences like the Pac-10, Big 12, and SEC lately, Cottonwood has established itself at the top of high school football hierarchy in Utah, and speed bumps like losing a head coach to college programs or even a heart attack haven't slowed it down. Now in the year of 2011, Cottonwood appears poised once again to be a major force in class 5A led by junior quarterback Cooper Bateman.
