Dawgs get #7 for 2012
Although their first elite prospect camp is on Saturday, the University of Georgia gets top prospects to visit throughout the week during their annual Mark Richt Camp. One of their top targets on offense was in Athens on Thursday, and he has pulled the trigger for the Bulldogs. Get the latest right here.
"I have committed to Georgia, " said Pierce County fullback Quayvon Hicks to UGASports moments ago. "Just getting up there, I felt like it was the place for me. After the second session, I went to Coach Mark Richt and told him I wanted to be a Dawg," said Hicks.
Hicks has made it known for months he had Georgia on top, so the head coach's reaction was not of surprise, but of pure happiness.
"He kind of knew what I wanted to do, but they were all happy because they did not know if I would do it so soon," said Hicks.
