At this past weekend's BadgerSports 7-on-7 National Championships in Dallas, one of the surprises was Oxford (Miss.) Lafayette quarterback Jeremy Liggins. Ranked as a dual-threat passer, it would not seem like the 7-on-7 format would be Liggins' forte. However, he excelled at the event.

Liggins helped lead Team Louisiana to the semifinals, connecting on short, intermediate and deep throws with regularity. The big 6-foot-3, 270-pound passer has seen his stock skyrocket as of late with one conference in particular taking notice.
