Five Key Plays: Marshall

WVSports.com West Virginia defeated Marshall 34-13 in the beginning of the Dana Holgorsen era after the game was called with 14:36 remaining in the 4th quarter. Here are five plays that contributed to the Mountaineers win.
5. Tyler Bitancurt's 27-yard field goal with 5:36 remaining in the 1st quarter won't be remembered as an all-time Mountaineer highlight, but the routine kick played an important role in the game. Bitancurt's kick was West Virginia's direct answer to the 87-yard punt return by Andre Booker that put Marshall up 7-0, and the kick capped off a 10-play 71-yard drive that provided momentum for the Mountaineers moving forward.
