Blue Valley Southwest as one of the newest schools in Kansas, and the smallest in its league, started the season with five straight losses to some of the top teams in the state. Then it went on a six game win streak, sweeping its District, and going three games into the playoffs before losing in the quarter finals to Paola 35-21.
