When he committed to Michigan Feb. 18, Wolverines fans knew they had a steal in David Dawson. The 6-5, 305-pounder impressed at Detroit Cass Tech as a sophomore, and at Houston Cypress Ridge as a junior before returning to the Great Lakes State this spring. The least heralded of Michigan's five offensive line commits, Dawson is ranked the No. 199 overall player and No. 23 offensive tackle by Rivals. Soon though, that ranking should go up.
