Peyton Newell out of Hiawatha, Kan., is someone who will be on your radar for a while.

Sunday, the 6-foot-3, 275-pound defensive end will with 4.8 40-yard dash speed will attend the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge in De Soto and then Monday it's off to Lubbock for a Tuesday morning unofficial visit with defensive line coach Robert Prunty.

"My recruiting process has definitely picked up in the last few months," Newell said. "I'm up 13 offers and I have quite a few other coaches who are interested and are on the verge. It's definitely picked up. My hard work has caught the eyes of a lot of people around me. I've become a popular young person."
