It was 2014 athlete Vic Wharton's first time back on a Knoxville football field last week since he last played for Knox Catholic High School during his freshman season.

After spending his sophomore year at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, the 6-foot-1, 172-pound was at Tennessee trying earn an offer from the Vols and he caught the eye of head coach Derek Dooley.
