Bill Snyder will face a familiar friend when No. 15 Kansas State faces North Texas on Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Long-time friend and one-time Iowa State head coach Dan McCarney will stand on the opposite sideline in the non-conference finale. Snyder during the Big 12 coaches teleconference on Monday discussed the Wildcats' recent improvement in the face of preparing for McCarney, who Snyder said is "always a hard preparation."
