Hurd enjoys Knoxville visit
Hendersonville running back Jalen Hurd took a break from running through opposing defenses Saturday to visit Knoxville for the Tennessee-Florida game. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound class of 2014 tailback was able to meet the Tennessee head coach and was impressed with the atmosphere in Knoxville on game day.
"It was great. I got a chance to go in the locker room before the game and have a brief conversation, kind of a greeting, from coach Derek Dooley and the offensive coordinator," Hurd said. "It was a good time and I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was a great game."
During Hurd's conversation with Dooley he heard one thing that stood out to him.
