Charlton electric in weather-delayed victory

TheWolverine.com Future members of Team 134 continue to dominate the prep gridiron. With the usual suspects making a multitude of plays on both sides of the ball, none made more that defensive end prospect Taco Charlton, who made 16 tackles, including four tackles for loss and three sacks.
Here is a comprehensive look at how future Wolverines fared in prep competition last weekend ...
Kyle Bosch: Bosch and the St. Francis (3-2) offensive were held to only 23 rushing yards on 23 attempts (1.0 yard per carry) in the first half of a 41-14 loss to Aurora Christian
The Spartans hope for a better effort up front against Marion Central Catholic Sept. 28.
Jake Butt: Butt grabbed seven passes for 110 yards yards (15.7 yards per catch) and one touchdown in Pickerington North's (5-0) devastating 45-14 victory over Lancaster ... The four-star recruit has caught 17 passes for 256 yards (15.1 yards per reception) and four scores this season ... The Panthers visit rival Pickerington Central Sept. 28.
Taco Charlton: Charlton was dominant on defense in Pickerington Central's (3-1) weather-delayed 21-20 victory over Reynoldsburg, tallying 16 tackles, including four tackles for loss and three sacks
Charlton has accumulated 49 tackles, including 11 tackles and for loss and three sacks, this year ... The Tigers host Pickerington North Sept. 28.
Gareon Conley: Conley caught three passes for 65 yards (21.7 yards per reception) and a score to help Massillon (4-1) pull away from Steubenville 24-7
Defensively, he was in on three tackles ... Conley has recorded 19 catches for 371 yards (19.5 yards per reception) and five touchdowns this season ... Defensively, he has added 10 tackles, and returned an interception for a touchdown ... The Tigers welcome Akron Firestone Sept. 28.
David Dawson: Dawson and the Cass Tech (4-1) offense were limited to only 65 total yards in a 13-6 loss to Orchard Lake St. Mary's
The Technicians welcome Detroit Henry Ford Sept. 28.
Ross Douglas: Douglas scrambled for 160 yards and four touchdowns to help lead Avon (4-1) to a 42-7 victory over Bay
He also added an interception on defense
Douglas has rushed for 575 yards and nine touchdowns this season
The Eagles travel to Elyria Catholic Sept. 28.
Jaron Dukes: Dukes nabbed two balls for 16 yards (8.0 yards per reception) a touchdown to spark a Marion-Franklin (4-1) offense that outscored Independence 36-30 ... The senior has contributed 14 catches for 300 yards (21.4 yards per carry) and four scores this season ... The Red Devils visit Walnut Ridge Sept. 28.
Michael Ferns (2014): Ferns made five stops, including one tackle for loss, for a menacing St. Clairsville (4-0) defense in a 42-6 rout over Harrison Central
The Red Devils host Bellaire Sept 28.
Chris Fox: Fox's effort in the trenches helped Ponderosa's (4-0) offense score six times on the ground in a 63-7 demolition of Air Academy
The Mustangs visit Vista Ridge Sept. 28.
Ben Gedeon: Gedeon lugged the ball 17 times for 155 yards (9.1 yards per carry) and a touchdown, and made five tackles to in Hudson's (4-1) 46-28 victory over Cuyahoga Falls
The four-star linebacker prospect has recorded 41 tackles, including four for loss and a sack, and recovered a fumble this year
The Explorers travel to Garfield Heights Sept. 28.
Khalid Hill: Hill had a 25-yard touchdown reception called back due to a holding penalty, but East English Village (4-1) still managed to rout Detroit Southeastern 39-0
East English entertains Detroit Central Sept. 28.
Maurice Hurst Jr.: Hurst (1-3) was downed by Brockton (22-14), but Hurst played superbly, notching eight tackles, including three tackles for loss and two sacks, and forced two fumbles ... Hurst has recorded 17 tackles, including six for loss and four sacks, and two forced fumbles thus far in 2012 ... The Hawks visit Andover Sept. 28.
Patrick Kugler: Kugler made three tackles for stifling North Allegheny (3-0) defense that did not yield a touchdown in a 35-3 triumph over Pine-Richland
The Tigers look to protect their home field against Butler Sept. 28.
Jourdan Lewis: Lewis was stymied in Cass Tech's (4-1) disappointing 13-6 loss to Orchard Lake St. Mary's
Lewis has accounted for three touchdown catches, two scores on special teams, a touchdown pass and one interception this year ... The Technicians host Detroit Henry Ford Sept. 28.
Mike McCray: McCray recorded six tackles to aid a dominant Trotwood-Madison (3-2) defense in a 20-0 conquest of West Carrollton
McCray has totaled 30 tackles and forced a fumble this season
The Rams make the trek to Piqua Sept. 28.
Shane Morris: Warren De La Sa Salle (2-3) fell to Detroit Catholic Central 31-30
Morris was sidelined due to illness
The five-star prospect has connected on 40 of 83 passes (48.2 percent) for 464 yards and one touchdown against two interceptions this year ... The Pilots travel to Niagara Academy (London, Ont.) Sept. 29.
Henry Poggi: Gilman (2-2) had a bye week
The Grey Hounds get back to business against Mount St. Joseph Sept. 29.
Wyatt Shallman: Shallman was once again sidelined by an injury, but Catholic Central (3-2) edged past Warren De La Salle 31-30
The Shamrocks play at U of D Jesuit Sept. 29.
Deveon Smith: Howland (3-1) had a bye week ... Smith has amassed 732 yards and eight touchdowns this year ... The Tigers return to action at home against Beaver on Sept. 28.
Channing Stribling: Stribling made two tackles and broke up two passes to help Butler (4-0) remain unbeaten in a 40-6 victory over Rocky River
Stribling has registered 13 stops, four pass breakups, two interceptions, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and caught six passes for 99 yards (16.5 yards per reception) this year ... The Bulldogs host East Mecklenburg Sept. 28.
Scott Sypniewski: Marquette (5-0) remained undefeated with a 35-21 victory over Mooseheart
The Crusaders play at Alden-Hebron/Faith Lutheran Sept. 29.
Dymonte Thomas: Thomas rushed for 118 yards and three scores on 17 carries (6.9 yards per carry) to help Marlington (5-0) score 41-unanswered points in a 41-10 victory over Salem
In 2012, Thomas has stockpiled 766 rushing yards (153.2 yards per game) for nine touchdowns, and has made 19 tackles
The Dukes host Carrollton Sept. 28.
Logan Tuley-Tillman: Tuley-Tillman dominated the interior, making 14 tackles and adding 10 pancake blocks, but Manual (0-5) remained winless in a 35-8 defeat to Illinois Valley Central ... Tuley-Tillman has stockpiled 32 pancake blocks, and amassed 30 tackles, including six tackles for loss and three sacks, this season ... The Rams continue to search for their first win at Richwoods Sept. 28.
Csont'e York: York six passes for 115 yards (19.2 yards per carry) and three touchdowns for an explosive Chandler Park Academy (2-2) offense in a 58-0 victory over Bradford Academy
York has accumulated 335 yards and six touchdowns on 20 catches (16.8 yards per reception) early in his senior campaign ... The Eagles host Unity Prep Sept. 28.
