Junior safety Matt Elam has long been the star of No. 10 Florida's highly-ranked defense. Against No. 3 LSU on Saturday, he shined brightly for his sister Brittany Walker.

In honor of his younger sister's on-going battle with breast cancer, Elam sported pink shoelaces, pink wristbands, a pink sleeve and a pink towel.


"My sister just battled through breast cancer a couple of month's ago and that was very important to me because she was young," Elam said. "She was here at the game so I had to show her some love."
