Notebook: Defense builds on recent success

TheWolverine.com After two disconcerting weeks, the Michigan football team had surrendered 66 total points, 863 total yards and 537 rushing yards. By any standards - especially the viciously high ones set by Michigan coach Brady Hoke and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison - those are not good numbers.
