Final Look: Gardner provides hope for 2013

TheWolverine.com It looked dicey in the first quarter of Michigan's 35-13 win at Minnesota - nine total yards on offense - before junior Devin Gardner kicked it into gear. Gardner's play provides hope that the Wolverines can finish strong if senior Denard Robinson continues to be hindered by his bad arm, and that Gardner can provide Big Ten title caliber quarterback play next year.
The things that stuck out early after watching film of the Minnesota game were the same things that were noticeable at the time. The line play wasn't up to par, disappointing in that you'd hope they'd take it up a notch with first-time starter Gardner under center (and were likely challenged to).
