Analysis: Iowa still fundamentally sound

TheWolverine.com Iowa might not have the playmakers it's had in its better years, but the Hawkeyes can still be dangerous. Former Michigan defensive lineman Will Heininger sees many of the same things on film this year that have made Kirk Ferentz's teams solid in the past.
The Hawkeyes are reeling after four straight losses, but they're still playing hard.
"I watched them play this year, and they don't look all that different from in the past," Heininger said. "What Iowa does and has done for years, the reason they are so respected in the conference by those who play football, is they do things so well. From Xs and Os to a fundamental standpoint, they take advantage of everything you give them.
