Cox gets more comfortable

BulldogBlitz.com Two years ago Justin Cox took his official visit to Mississippi State after committing to the Bulldogs.
This past weekend he was in the same situation visiting Starkville. But this time around things went even better for the junior college All-American.
"The visit was good," Cox said. "I bonded more with the players. I had a good host in Tobias Smith. It was good in more of a comfortable way. The players accepted me and acted like they really wanted me to be there so it was good."
Cox did not qualify academically out of West Point (Miss.) High School in 2011 and has spent the past two seasons playing safety at East Mississippi Community College. During his JUCO career, Cox recorded 119 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 11 interceptions, one sack, 18 pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
Originally Cox was signed as a cornerback with the Bulldogs before going to EMCC and playing safety.
Now the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder could see action at both positions.
