At midnight tonight, 2013 will be upon us, and with it a chance at NCAA glory for the basketball team, a new season of redemption for the football team and much, much more. Here are 10 predictions for all things Michigan sports.

1. U-M will exact revenge on Notre Dame, Nebraska and Ohio State, but will lose two Big Ten games: Michigan will start the season 7-0 and be ranked third nationally entering its bye after besting the Fighting Irish in week two, Penn State and upstart Indiana. However, the Maize and Blue will fall at Michigan State and at Iowa. They will rebound each time with victories over Nebraska and Ohio State - and by virtue of knocking off the Buckeyes, and holding the head-to-head with the Cornhuskers, they will earn a trip to the Big Ten Championship.
