Three questions: Should Jared Rutledge start in net?
They say all good things must come to an end, and for the Michigan hockey team, these last 12 regular-season games are a likely prelude to the end of a 22-year NCAA Tournament run. We dissect U-M's chances and more in today's three questions.
Is the NCAA streak over? Not until the fat lady sings, but after getting swept at Yost last week (a 5-1 midweek loss to Bowling Green, and 5-4 and 4-1 weekend losses to Alaska), she's belting out warm-up choruses behind the curtain.
Saturday night's loss was a lowpoint in a season full of them. U-M had never been swept by Alaska at home before, dating back to 1987, previously going 22-3-1 against the Nanooks in the Maize and Blue's home rink.
