From the film room: Dan Samuelson

Three-star Dan Samuelson became the sixth offensive lineman commitment in the Class of 2013 when he pledged to the Wolverines Jan. 12. Here we take a look at his strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths: Samuelson has the combination of size and athletic ability that allows him to dominate his opponents. He shows a really nice desire to deliver a high level of impact on initial contact with the defender. He does a nice job of keeping his shoulders and hips square to the line in his first two steps off the ball. Samuelson also likes to use his hands to deliver a hard punch on his opponent.

On second-level blocks, he does a nice job of gathering himself so that he is under control on linebacker impact. He runs well in open space and shows good effort to get downfield for extra blocks. He does not hesitate to put his nose in on the block and finish the block all the way to the ground.
