Montgomery To OU Confirmed

TheWolverine.com Michigan defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery, who flourished at directing the Wolverines under fellow tacticians Brady Hoke and Greg Mattison, won't be around for a follow-up in the fall.
Montgomery is headed to Oklahoma to join the Sooners as an assistant coach, a move confirmed by SoonerScoop.com, part of the Rivals.com network.
Montgomery played his football at Iowa, and became part of the dramatic defensive turnaround Hoke brought to Michigan in 2011. U-M fashioned a staunch defensive line featuring performers such as Mike Martin and Ryan Van Bergen, for an 11-2 Sugar Bowl champion squad.
