Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo seemed to acknowledge the return of the Spartans' rivalry with Michigan two years ago when he pounded the podium in anger following a 70-63 loss in Ann Arbor.
"Let's get the rivalry really going," he barked in concluding his press conference.

Michigan then proceeded to capture its third straight win over the Spartans with a home win the following year. It's evened off, with each team having won both games at home since Izzo's challenge, Michigan the latest with a 58-57 victory to improve to 4-2 in the last three years.
