NOTEBOOK: Young savors the pace
AUBURN | The torrid pace of Gus Malzahn's practices have created introspection among some players who weren't prepared mentally for the constant motion.
Not a single moment is wasted when the head coach dons his headset and begins barking orders over the speaker system. Or even before that. Auburn may accomplish more during a two-hour practice than any team in America.

Tackle Avery Young is one of them.
"I love it. I remember doing it back in high school, my senior year," Young said. "We were really getting into it. I know high school is totally different from college, but that pace, I've seen how it goes when playing against a team that's not used to it. I'm liking it now that I'm playing in it again. I'm enjoying it."
That's only one reason for joy in Young's life.
