Brandon finds mother's approval
When players make their verbal commitments early in the recruiting process fans can often overlook the value of a player. Coriscana, Texas offensive tackle Cory Brandon became the first Oklahoma verbal commitment to the class of 2006 last July and little has been heard from his since. In spite of that longtime commitment Brandon's decision has always been somewhat questioned due to his mother's lack of knowledge about the Sooners. That problem was remedied this weekend..
