It might not be the Daytona 500 or anything close to Super Bowl Sunday but for basketball fans around Berkeley who have waited nearly half a century for a men's basketball conference title, this Thursday's tilt between UCLA (22-6, 12-4 in the Pac-10) and Cal (17-8, 11-5 in the Pac-10) certainly means quite a bit. With Haas Pavilion rockin', the Pac-10 title at stake, and sophomore forward Leon Powe leading the way, the Golden Bears will be on the hunt.
