Jamire Williams was supposed to hear the news that UConn offered him from his coach, but some of his friends could not wait to tell him in the hallway during school. Williams said UConn is one of his favorites after watching them on television. The Jacksonville, Fla., First Coast cornerback said he wears UConn football clothing around school. Safe to say he is excited about the Huskies' offer.
