For years, Tennessee has tried to recruit the area of Jacksonville, Fla., but Phillip Fulmer and Company have not had much success in that part of the Sunshine State. That does not mean that Tennessee is not continuing to try and find success in that area and on the Vols radar screen is defensive back Jamire Williams from First Coast High School.

The 6-foot, 180 pound cornerback has had a busy week on the offer front. Monday, Williams received an offer from the Vols, and on Tuesday, South Carolina offered Williams as well.

"I was surprised," Williams said of the offers. "Tennessee and South Carolina are two big-time Division I offers. I was not expecting them to offer me this early."
