Browne raises stock, still interested in IU
Count Vincent Browne as another player the Hoosiers will be glad they offered early. This past weekend at the Nike Camp in Columbus, Ohio the 6-foot-5, 245 pound junior saw his stock rise dramatically thanks to a very impressive workout.
Rivals recruiting analyst Jeremy Crabtree thinks Browne may have moved from a mid-level Big Ten prospect to a guy that can play at the elite level in college football with his showing this past week.
Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue have shown the most interest, so far.
While some schools want to use the athletic junior as a tight end or defensive end, Indiana thinks he fits their mold of athletic, tall lineman.
