Ohio signal caller Rick Stanzi will be one of two first-year quarterbacks reporting to camp for the Iowa Hawkeyes this summer. After playing in an Ohio all-star game in June, the 6-foot-4, 193-pound Stanzi is heading to Iowa City to begin off-season workouts with the team.

As a high school senior, Stanzi completed 156 of 259 passes for 2,170 yards and 21 touchdowns. The quarterback led Lake Catholic to a 10-2 record, earning several post-season honors along the way, including district offensive player of the year.
