Jordan has long list

UConnReport.com Many of the top schools in the country are chasing Houston (Texas) Episcopal's DeAndre Jordan and for good reason.
Jordan, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound prospect, dominated in his junior season and averaged 16.5 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks per game. Rivals.com rates him the ninth-best power forward and 33rd best player overall in the 2007 class.
UConn has shown early interest in Jordan, who mentioned the Huskies, Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Kansas, Florida, Indiana and Illinois as some of the schools that have offered.
