Feeling a draft?
Though incoming freshman Caz Piurowski has announced his intentions to bypass baseball and stick with his commitment to the Florida State football team, two other members of the 2006 signing class are keeping their options open.
Receiver Brent Brewer and quarterback D'Vontrey Richardson recently finished their senior baseball seasons and now must measure their pro prospects before deciding whether they will enroll at FSU later this year.
Brewer, who starred at shortstop for Sandy Creek High in Tyrone, Ga., likely will have the tougher decision. Before his senior season, he was projected as the nation's No. 57 prospect by Team One Baseball.
"He's a great player, a great athlete," Sandy Creek head coach Eddy Householder said.
