Desmond Scott, a 5-8, 175-pound running back and cornerback from Durham, N.C., Southern Durham, has made his presence felt all over the place this spring, helping him make a name for himself as perhaps the top underclassman in the state of North Carolina.

Scott has a close relationship with his father, who is helping prepare his son for what looks to be a very promising high school career.

"My father is the best guy," Scott said. "We work out daily; he trains me."

"I was hoping he could do about an 80 (SPARQ Rating)," said Tony Scott following the Clemson Camp.

"But Desmond said he was going to go for a 90, and he did it."
