Hoover High home to another D-I lineman
Hoover, Ala., is home to at least two of the state's top prospects in 2007 in offensive lineman Ryan Pugh and defensive lineman Kerry Murphy.
However, the two aren't the only Bucs getting major interest from colleges across the country.
Hoover is also home to another lineman, Patrick Crump, who has seen his recruitment seriously pick up in the last few weeks.
Crump, a 6-fot-3, 285-pounder, picked up an early offer from Troy. And in the last 10 days, he's added ones from Tennessee, Michigan, Kentucky and Louisville.
"I picked up four new offers last week," said Crump. "Michigan's coach Fred Jackson called me talked to me and my mom. He said he wanted me to come play up there. He said he was offering me to come play. It was kind of cool."
