Nation's No. 10 WR has UM among top picks
The No. 10 ranked prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, Hempstead, Texas, wide receiver Terrance Toliver received a Miami scholarship offer last Tuesday.
"They told me they were sending it, and then I got it in the mail," said Toliver, a 6-foot-5, 185-pounder with 4.4-second speed. "Coach (Marquis) Mosely said I was a guy that they wanted. He came to my school, too. He's a cool guy, seems like a good coach."
Toliver is now up to 18 offers, including the likes of USC, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas A&M.
He says distance won't be a factor and that Miami is "right there at the top, close to the top. I'm open right now. It's wide open. I haven't narrowed it down yet."
