Florida QB hopes to visit Buckeyes
Most colleges are projecting Bradenton (Fla.) Bayshore talent Latravis Washington as something other than a quarterback, and while he thinks he can do the job under center he doesn't have a real problem with playing somewhere else.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder has a rocket for an arm and nifty enough feet to keep plays alive, but he's realistic enough to know that his future may lie on the defensive side of the ball.
The Buckeyes are in the mix, along with Auburn and Michigan State, and though he didn't come out and say it, Washington's leader may be Nebraska. He just returned from the Huskers quarterbacks camp and professes to like the school a great deal. But Ohio State has a ton of tradition, and that has made Washington take notice.
Washington intends to take his visits and will likely decide shortly after his season.
