Geography may help Tigers with Lucas
Outside of Baton Rouge itself, the City of Houston may be one of the biggest locations of LSU alumni.
John Brady and his staff hope that they have found a future alumni member who can also play a little basketball.
Bellaire High school point guard Jai Lucas is one of the most sought after players in the country this year and said the Tigers are one of several schools that he is considering.
The 5-10, 155-pound point guard is a four-star recruit according to Rivals.com.
"I would have to say that I am interested (in no particular order) in Oklahoma, LSU, Oklahoma State, Kentucky and Maryland," Lucas said. "I would have to say that those schools are my top schools that I am interested in at the moment. I am still open at the moment and other schools can come into play, but right now those are my top schools of choice."
