Bruins in line for official visit

The Bruins as a staff are recruiting like they have a full boat of scholarships. One area of improvement is there presence in Florida especially to the northern Florida school known as Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln. The groundwork was started two years and last season they came very close to landing two from Lincoln high school.


Once again the Bruins are in the thick of it for the services of two players from Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln. One of them is safety/linebacker Deshaun Barnes (6-2, 195, 4.45).


Hey Bruin fans not a bad first name is it? He also goes by the name of Franklin.


Barnes could fit the bill that the Bruins desire at two positions. He could feasibly play either safety or linebacker for UCLA, both are positions of need for this class.


A talented all-around athlete, Barnes also runs track and would like to participate in that sport on the collegiate level. He competes in the 400-meter and 4x400. His best time his 49-flat. He also leaped a 6-5 high jump.
