Pitt begins its 2006 season with a few kicking specialists on its rosters. Senior Adam Graessle has kicked off and has also punted for Pitt. He will graduate after this season.

Punter Dave Brytus joins the team this season after transferring from Purdue, but will sit out this season due to the NCAA transfer rules.

Senior placekicker David Abdul had heart surgery this summer and walk-on Conor Lee, coming off a strong spring, will assume the kicking duties in fall camp.

The Panthers are looking for their next kicking specialist, and that appears to be Brandon Walker from Findlay, Ohio. Walker attended Pitt's camp last week, and was the only kicker there.
